Web Designer
We’re looking for someone who’s able to build great web based experiences
for use in-house, as well as for our clients.
gruntmonkey LLC is a small company, so there’s no bureaucracy, and no hoops to jump through. You’ll have a direct hand in creating our sites and applications through your design, coding, and strategic thinking.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
• Serious devotion to design with a portfolio that shows you have an eye for details,
a skill for typography, and a love for the grid
• Speaks fluent HTML and CSS, bonus points if you know HTML5 and CSS3
• Self-motivated and able to efficiently run with a project without close supervision
Big points if you have these:
• Experience with web/mobile apps and e-commerce design
• Experience with JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, JQuery
• Experience designing for Wordpress or similar CMS’s
• Experience working remotely or on your own
• A formal design education
This is a remote, contract position.
